University Of North Alabama Recognizes Top Award Among Anderson College Of Nursing And Health Professions Graduates

The recipients are: Brian Dunaway, of Harvest, and JaQualia Bunch, of Southaven, Miss., were recognized as Student Ambassadors as well as for their roles as officers in the Student Nurse Association. Michaela DeKilder, of Grand Junction, Mich., was the recipient of the 2019 Dean's Award. Victoria Tigner, of Iuka, Miss., who graduated with a traditional BSN degree, received the award for the highest grade point average among those in her graduating class. Five students were awarded the Florence Nightingale Award, an honor is the voted on by the Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions faculty. Recipients are selected based upon academic excellence, professionalism, and possessing a caring demeanor. The 2019 recipients are: Chris Moore, of Sheffield, Accelerated BSN; Jonathan Crosby, of Enterprise, and Marissa Deal, of Collierville, Tenn., Traditional BSN; Matthew Johnson, of Florence, RN-BSN; Charman Harper, of Alabaster, MSN.
